To cater to this growing need of international education, Continental Institute for International Studies, (CIIS) is  engaged in imparting quality education in India. From its inception, CIIS has dedicated itself to the active promotion of international education. Its mission is to develop the student's ability to think creatively and critically, and communicate well, so the student can be prepared for international leadership CIIS is truly international in character that believes in constructive interaction of the North American teaching techniques where the students are at an advantage.

CIIS, in India, is an extension campus of Georgian College & Thompson Rivers University, Canada both these colleges are funded and managed by respective provincial Government of Canada & are rated among the largest Co-op Institutes within Canada.CIIS has also inked subsequent tie-ups with AYR College, Scotland, UK and the University of Brighton, UK.

 

At CIIS, it is a strong belief that academic and professional exchange as a means for transferring knowledge across borders is critical for preparing a new generation of global citizens. Thus, realizing the need for an institute offering students quality International education, where close attention to each student would inspire and develop their self-confidence, the Continental Institute for International Studies brings courses in India to award Canadian College diplomas and International University degrees right here. What is more important is that these diplomas / degrees cost a mere fraction of what a student would spend in the US or Canada and get exactly the same education with the option of completing the whole course in India or taking a transfer to the International campus after one or two years of study.
 

In order to give an international exposure to the students, the CIIS faculty and staff are selected by International Partner Colleges/Universities to ensure highest International teaching standards. Senior International Professors and Lecturers come to Chandigarh on rotational basis for a time period of two to three semesters for full time teaching. The Indian faculty are handpicked and sent on training to parent Institutes prior to commencement of classes at CIIS.
